The focus of this project was just as the project title denotes. I wanted to create a design that would celebrate a monochromatic palette while pushing the presentation of the limited hue.
In this design, I played with texture. From the granite countertop to the tiled backsplash behind the oven; this design pleasantly breaks up the uniformity; an issue that a monochromatic design often poses.
One unique aspect of this kitchen that I enjoyed was the island. It brings warmth into the space while remaining simplistic in hue and bringing uniformity through the limited color palette.
