This was the first ever bathroom design that I ever worked on. I found myself inspired to mix colorful patterned wallpaper with colorful tile and use other interesting textures in this layout. I also wanted the addition challenge of working with a small square footage.
This is the mood board I created with Pinterest to help me in the direction of this bathroom remodel. Being a smaller bathroom I wanted to rely on textures to keep this design visually interesting.
The main inspiration for this project was this rich purple wine tile I had seen in a tile distributor showroom.
In an age where white and clean is the expectation for most bathrooms and kitchen spaces, I wanted to push the imagination of what a simple washroom could look like with a couple of creative selections that challenge the norm.
I think that this project was very successful in the mixing of colors that I used in this space. I also like the application of the marble on the floor shower and the ceiling. This design choice brings cohesion to the small layout of the room.
